ABOUT

David Chen is the Owner and Operator of the largest Chick-fil-A in Oklahoma located at Midtown Tulsa. The vision of his business
is to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A.
Selected as one of Oklahoma's 40 under 40 influential leaders, David has dedicated his career to the service of others. After graduating in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech, David served 2 years as a missionary in East Asia. Upon his return to the States, he completed his Master's Degree in Cross Cultural Leadership from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary while serving multiple organizations within church ministry, non-profit work supporting refugee resettlement, and restaurant leadership for Starbucks Coffee Company.

During this season, David found his passion in customer service and his ability to serve his team, his guests, and his community through a restaurant environment. In 2010, he joined the Chick-fil-A Support Center in Atlanta, GA where he helped to select Owner/Operators for the Southwest and West Regions of Chick-fil-A and in 2015, he made the transition to opening his own Chick-fil-A franchise at Southroads Shopping Center in Tulsa, OK. Since his grand opening, Chick-fil-A Southroads Shopping Center has become the largest volume Chick-fil-A in the state of Oklahoma serving over 6 million guests, employing over 700 Team Members, and donating over $2 million in in-kind donations to its local community. David and his team will be opening their second location at Hwy 64 & S. Utica Ave in March of 2025.
WHY CHENCHIASIN?
David is the first in his family to be born in the United States. His parents immigrated to the U.S. in 1968 from Taiwan and when David was born, he was given a Chinese name (Chia-sin) as well as his english name. In Chinese tradition, people are addressed by their last surname, then their given name. For David, this became Chen Chia-sin, hence the social media handle @chenchiasin.
